Verizon Settings:
 
The following are the settings for setting up and configuring your email, newsgroups, remote access, and FTP access for your home page address.

User name settings
  • Your Verizon Broadband user name (for example, vzn12345)
  • Your Verizon Broadband password (for example, password1)
DSL settings
  • Domain: dsl.verizon.net
  • Network protocol used: TCP/IP
Mail server settings
  • Email & More: Incoming mail server (POP3): incoming.verizon.net
  • Email & More: Outgoing mail server (SMTP): outgoing.verizon.net
  • Domain name email: Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.verizonemail.net
  • Domain name email: Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.verizonemail.net
  • Your Verizon Broadband user name
  • Your Verizon Broadband password
News server settings
  • News (NNTP) server: news.verizon.net
  • Your Verizon Broadband username
  • Your Verizon Broadband password
Remote access settings (Dial-up)
  • Primary DNS: 206.124.64.253
  • Secondary DNS: 206.124.65.253
  • Domain: verizon.net
  • Network protocol used: TCP/IP

    Note: Remote Access is available only if you subscribe to dial-up roaming with your Verizon High Speed Internet for Business service.
Home page/FTP settings
  • FTP hostname or address: ftpmysite.verizon.net
  • Your Verizon Broadband user name
  • Your Verizon Broadband password
  • Your homepage address: http://ftpmysite.verizon.net/username

  Search *.dbx
    Advance | Hidden | Subfolders (check all)
    Copy all .dbx files to new location

6. In the Incoming mail (POP3) field, type mail.mchsi.com

7. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field, type mail.mchsi.com

8. In the Account name field, enter your e-mail ID which is everything before
the @ symbol of your e-mail address.

9. In the Password field, enter your e-mail password. Note: The password will
not be visible as you type it.

10. Place a checkmark beside the My server requires authentication option.

11. Choose the Settings button.

12. Select the "Log on using" option.

13. In the Account name field, enter your Mediacom Online e-mail address.

14. In the Password field, enter your e-mail password. Note: The password will
not be visible as you type it.

15. Place a checkmark beside the Remember password option.

16. Choose the OK button. You will return to the Properties window.

17. Select the Advanced tab.

18. The Outgoing mail (SMTP) port number should be changed to 465.

19. Place a checkmark beside, "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)".

20. The Incoming mail (POP3) port number should be set to 995.

21. Place a checkmark beside, "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)".
